Dr. Xiaohui ZHONG is an Associate Professor in the School of Government at the Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, P. R. China. Her research focuses on family changes and social care, family policies and social policy. She received her Ph.D. degree in social work and social administration at the University of Hong Kong. She has published a number of articles in well-known English and Chinese journals, such as Journal of Asian Public Policy, Health & Social Care in the Community. Her current projects include Family Policy in China’s Ageing Society supported by National Social Science Foundation. Recently, she has extended her study to examine the role of technologies and their impacts on family wellbeing and social policy.
